I love the intelligence and gracefulness of Octopuses and cephalopods in general. I mostly sculpt endangered wildlife, which octopuses are not, but anything that has 8 arms that can think for themselves, passes its dinner through the middle of its brain, has 3 hearts and blue/green blood simply had to be done!

Full description
This wall hanging sculpture of an Octopus, can be hung up in four ways, including in 2 diagonal directions. It is ready to hang up with polypropylene and metal yarn, which will not rust or rot, already threaded through the back.
Made in small batches in my studio by the sea, no two are the same, even when I use the same glaze. The glazes are painted on in layers, leading to variations which only show up after the piece is fired. They are chunky to withstand the wind, and are fully weatherproof. They can also be cemented into place as an architectural feature.
I send these out double boxed, to ensure a safe arrival, and I often reuse packing materials.
