This little ornament is one of the first I made using one of several old necklaces I've had for quite a while.
I think they work really well and will look really pretty on any tree, a new heirloom for your family.

Full description
A small sparkly tree ornament made using crystal beads from an old necklace, probably from the 50s.
These beads have a slight rainbow shimmer and are highly faceted for extra sparkle. Starting with a large one at the bottom and going up to a little one at the top each crystal bead has a tiny, clear red, seed bead in between it and the next.
The ornament is finished with a small bicone bead at the bottom and a small clear seed bead, it is threaded on to fine beading wire held in place by silver coloured crimps.
The ornament measures 10cm including the loop and the beads measure 4.5 cm.
