VARIEGATED PURPLE, HANDSPUN, HAND DYED MERINO AND SILK COWL
I handspun a lovely super soft blend of merino wool and silk into a fine yarn. I dyed the yarn in variegated shades of purple, lilac and white. I then knitted this cowl or neck warmer. I call it a kerchief cowl as it looks like a kerchief, neckerchief or triangular shawl, but it is joined at the back, so there is no uncomfortable bulk where ends would otherwise cross over.
Dimensions
The cowl measures 14" (35.5cm) from top centre to bottom centre. (my mannequin is quite small so the cowl may look larger than it really is. Please check this measurement.
Great for walking, hiking, cycling, riding or just for popping to the shop or on the school run on cool mornings. Or you could, like me, just pop it on when around the house if you're feeling chilly.
