Naturists and lovers of the simple life, this one's for you. A hand stamped 1940s teaspoon that says BREWED IN THE NUDE. Ideal for camping trips and all those leisurely cups of tea you make when you have nothing on...
This listing is for ONE handstamped nickel silver tea spoon (approx. 12.5cm long). You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured black with waterbased, non-toxic acrylic ink. Please wash carefully by hand and don't scrub the wording too hard.
Please note this is vintage. In fact it even has a date on the back of the handle: 1947. I'm guessing it's military issue (although there is no arrow mark) so it may well have done service in a NAAFI canteen or similar. It will give you many years of happy stirring but being alloy metal it will never polish up as bright and shiny as a silver plated spoon, it'll always have that slightly dull brassy sheen. (If you happen to like this aesthetic, do check out the '1940s Spoons' collection in my shop. I even sourced 1940s vintage stamping dies to make the lettering. Yes, I know I should probably get out more.)
