I regularly try new techniques. This piece uses a technique of manipulating glass powder to create images taught by Sarah Miller Glass in Canada.

This unique and unusual piece of fused glass art depicts a small stand of trees silhouetted against a burning red evening sun.
This piece uses a sheet of streaky red and clear glass, the top edge of which is uneven. The trees have been created using black glass powder, a very careful hand, and lots of heat from the kiln!
The piece is approximately 10.5cm wide, cm at its tallest and 3mm thick. It has been created using a hand-cut piece of art glass which has undergone a session in the kiln. It comes complete with a pair of specially designed supports that allow the piece to stand on its own.
Please note that any other ornaments in the images are not included in the sale.
PS: This piece uses the uneven edge of a sheet of art glass. This is
known as a 'Rolled Edge' and is the result of how the glass is created.
