Full description
This handsome hand crafted Silver Birch wood rollerball pen is made on Sanday, Orkney. These trees are native to the UK, and the wood for this pen came from pruning waste from a former neighbours garden, and made in my workshop in Orkney.
The cap and barrel have a gentle curved shape, with only a small variance in diameter, the widest points at the centre. The wood has a dark tan colour with subtle grain markings, giving it a lovely soft, gentle tone.
The gold plated tip, clip, centre band and top finial with black accents compliment the tan colour of the wood, and the gentle taper to the tip section make this pen very easy to hold. The refill is easily changed by unscrewing the tip, taking care not to lose the small spring.
The price includes post and packing.
