I like turning wooden bowls with a fluid shape, hence the lip which also helps when holding it. Beech makes great items for the kitchen/dining room as it is a hardwood with close grain, and with care can be cleaned and should last for many years.

Full description
A lovely bowl turned from a piece of beech wood and given a lip which helps when holding it. It is finished with food safe oil which gives it a light sheen and protects it. Can be used for holding fresh fruit, crisps etc. To clean it can be washed but dry immediately after as it is wood and please do not soak it, also it can be re oiled. It is approximately 20cm wide by 7cm.
