Full description
A unique wooden box with loose fitting lid made from Spalted Beech and finished with danish oil and wood wax to protect it and give it a light sheen. Every item made with Spalted Beech has a unique pattern owing to the markings in the wood which develop over time when left after felling, so the finished item is always a surprise. The box can be used as an ornament, to hold small pieces of jewellery of other small items. It is approximately 7cm wide by 9cm tall. An occasional polish with wood wax will help keep its appearance.
