A very pretty herb with lovely foliage, and as with lots of herbs, Robert has medicinal and culinary uses, including traditionally used as an antiseptic, and to treat stomach upsets and nosebleeds. The edible leaves can be made into a tea and could be crushed to use as an insect repellant for the skin, good old Robert.

Full description
Herb Robert shines in this Cyanotype Photogram. I've called it Robin as the herb was thought to have gained its name from an ancient association with Robin Goodfellow, a house goblin in English folklore, also known as Puck.!!!
The pretty leaves and delicate pink flowers grow in abundance along roadsides and woodland edges, the leaves can turn bright red in sunshine. The silver-coloured frame shows off this dainty botanical and the wet cyanotype technique adds colour and depth.
This original photogram would be a talking point in any room, on a cabinet, shelf, or dresser, and make a lovely gift for a gardener or plant lover. Can be wall mounted.
For further information on the Cyanotype and Wet Cyanotype techniques see ‘About' in my shop.
Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper.
Named ‘Robin’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The silver-coloured metal frame is approximately 6” x 8” with a glass front.
The Aperture size is approximately 4” x 6”
It has a black velvet effect back and stand.
The framed photogram will be posted out in a lined postal box, that is reusable.
Colour and contrast may vary slightly from the image on screen due to monitor/screen settings. The props, shown in the photos are for illustrative purposes only. See more original photograms in Hazleton Art 'The Framed Collection'
