Bamboo, is in itself inspiring- It's said to be the fastest-growing plant on the planet: New shoots of some tropical species have been noted growing up to 4 feet per day in their shooting season! It's sustainable as mature bamboos produce new shoots and canes each year, which can be harvested individually without destroying the plant.
Environmental friendly, Bamboo plants are very effective at removing metals and other toxic substances from soils and water. Bamboo produces the most oxygen of all plants! and it consumes more carbon dioxide than any other plant! Soft enough to use in making clothes and strong enough for building housing and of course the pandas love it!

Full description

This A3 photogram has been bamboozled, thick and leafy bamboo shoots gently rustle in the breeze. Made using the traditional Cyanotype technique, but by removing some of the stems just before it is fully exposed, creates the mid-blue colours and gives it depth and character. This piece would be set off nicely in a black or gold frame, giving it an oriental feel.

This Photogram is created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper.

Named ‘Japan Blue’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1

The Artwork is sold Mounted on a backboard with a white mount.

The mounted size is 40cm x 50cm, ready for you to place into a Frame of your choice.

The aperture size is approximately 28cm x 38cm.

The frames and props shown in the photographs are for illustrative purposes only.

The photogram will be posted out in a clear protective sleeve and an all-board envelope which is reusable and recyclable. Colour and contrast may vary slightly from the image on screen due to monitor/screen settings. See more original Photograms in my Japanese Garden Collection.
