This beautiful French linen was found in a little shop in Wadebridge and I would love to know the story behind its creation. I had enough to make 2 purses from it.

Full description
Made from a vintage white French linen with a bird theme hand embroidered in a bright red embroidery thread.
The antique bronze metal embossed purse frame is sewn into place with a red embroidery thread.
The red and white cotton lining has a handful of Cornish lavender sewn within the lining, so you get a wonderful smell whenever you handle this purse.
The colour makes it really unsuitable for keeping in a bag but is perfect to scent a drawer and keep a piece of jewellery or a keepsake in. What will you keep in yours?
