I decided to try something different, simple shapes but lots of them, quite hard to get them to cooperate, but I'm really pleased with the result.

Full description
A circular copper pendant with a spiralling explosion of silver wires fused to it's surface. The lengths of wire are quite fine and are all bent into a hook shape, the short ends of the hooks are laid together, off centre of the disc and they create a flower shape or a catherine wheel fizzing out from their centre.
The silver has flowed between the lengths of wire, a couple of them have formed little blobs at the end, one is fused all along it's length and the others to varying distances, all are firmly fixed at the centre.
This piece has a fizzing, excited look to it, almost as if it's actully spinning.
After the piece is cleaned and polished it is domed and a little heat applied to give a patina to the copper, it is quite subtle on this one with touches of red, and gold.
Measuring 2.5cm/1" across, the piece hangs, by a copper jumpring through the tab at the top, from a red, adjustable, cotton cord. The cord can be adjusted from choker length to around mid chest.
