This versatile herb adds a softness to the border where it grows and towers above most of the other plants letting me know it's there. The aniseedy smell of the cut flowers fills the air when I'm working with it- quite lovely.

Full description
Tall elegant fennel stems, hold feathery bronzed leaves and umbels of yellow flowers, which sway in the gentle summer breeze. This traditional Cynaotype of Prussian blue and white is dotted with tiny grains of pollen released when I position the stems on the paper, the pollen is valued as a culinary ingredient, fresh or dried as a spice, like saffron.

Created on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to a backboard and White mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named ‘Bronze Fennel’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size 8” x 10” (20.32 x 25.4cm) ready for you to place into a standard 8” x 10” frame of your choice.
Aperture size is 5” x 7” (12.7 x 17.78cm)
The photogram will be posted out in a board-backed envelope which is reusable and recyclable.
