Due to updated UK government and EU regulations I am not able lo accept orders from Northern Ireland or to ship there. Apologies to those in that part of the UK.
I call these forms the Kindred Collection because they’re a family of pieces related in their form, but each with their own personality and character – so each bears a name. I work with soft stoneware clay, moulding the shape with my hands, and creating coloured clay decorative designs inspired by abstract art and textiles of the 20th century. I fire the pieces to 1185 degrees centigrade over a 12-hour period.

This small abstract sculptural ceramic art piece is a creative addition to your living space, or can be used as a focal point during mindfulness, quiet contemplation, or yoga meditation practice. Or even an incense stick holder… Handmade from black stoneware clay which fires to a matt finish, the shape is reminiscent of the human form and of Minoan and Cycladic archaeological finds. The decorative motifs are in blues and yellows fired into the clay itself. As I like to work with the minimum of tools, using my hands to shape and smooth the clay, expect some fingerprints or variation in the texture of the grainy clay. Underneath you’ll find my potter’s mark of a swallow in flight. 12.5 cms high, the piece is named Cassie.
