Seedhead is a slightly slouchy hat, inspired by the seed and flower head patterns featured in mid-20th century pottery, especially Hornsea's Bronte and Heirloom patterns. The pottery's circular and radiating motifs are echoed in the strong lines of the lace pattern which flows beautifully from the ribbing and are complemented by the carefully places yarnovers and bobbles.
Seedhead is the perfect hat for autumn or spring, with an attractive balance between the lacy yarnovers and the textured fabric to provide warmth without being too heavy to bulky.

Full description
Knitted with two strands of yarn held together, Seedhead is a beautifully cosy hat with gorgeous lace patterning. It's knitted in the round and once finished has a slightly slouchy fit.
The pattern includes sizes to fit a head circumference of between 45.5 - 58.5 cm / 18 - 23”. It also contains charts (with written equivalent instructions), photographs, a schematic and has been professionally technically edited.

1 x 50g of Cambrian Wool 4ply (150m per 50g ball/cake; 100% wool)
1 x 25g of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (210m per 25g ball; 70% mohair, 30% silk)
