There is real contrast not only between the Prussian blue and white in this Photogram but the strong stout stem and the feathery light foliage too.
Umbellifers have always fascinated me, all those tiny delicate petals and stamens gathered into tiny balls stretching out to form a puff of colour, like a firework going off.

A Traditional Cyanotype Photogram -white Dill flower image on a Prussian Blue background. Simple, stylish, contemporary art, ready for a wall in your -Family room? Home office? Kitchen? Study? Hallway? Guest room? that new extension?
The real thing is a delight umbels of bright yellow flowers burst from the top of the stem, feathery foliage fronds tickle the air. I grew lots of Dill this year both at home and on the allotment- just love it

Created on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to a backboard and White mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named ‘Dill Flower Spray’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size 11” x 14” (27.94 x 35.56cm) ready for you to place into a standard 11” x 14” frame of your choice.
Aperture size is 8” x 10” (20.32 x 25.4 cm)
The photogram will be posted out in an all board envelope which is reusable and recyclable. I purchase packaging made from recycled products whenever I can.
