I love finding different ways to create jewellery with the local sea glass. This is the second bottle neck I've used, it gives a heart shape where the indentation at the underside of the bottle rim makes a dip in the glass. This very dark green comes from old glass and tends to be quite heavy.

Full description
A dark green, slightly heart shaped, sea glass pendant, the sea glass has a ridge down it's centre, it was probably a bottle neck originally.
The pendant is made by needle beading around the glass onto heavy interfacing. Once the glass is securely fixed to the backing, a layer of leather is glued to the back and another row of beads fixed over the join at the edge. Then the decorative strands are added, each one has a bead at it's end, some of which are semi precious stone chips, including malachite and fluorite. The central strand has an enamel flower from a broken necklace. The pendant has 4 loops of beads at the top to suspend it from a handmade silver wire choker.
