I love using herbs and spices and like to have them close to hand when cooking.
This herb rack is small enough to tuck against the wall near the cooker and for the herb needed to be quickly available by just lifting out a tube. And the herb or spice can be decanted into the tubes in small amounts at a time and leave the rest of it tightly stored in its jar in the cupboard.
I am very fond of this attractive Cuisine image and I thought it was ideal for kitchen items.

Full description
This is an unusual and vintage/rustic-look herb rack, with a decorated crate-type box holding five plastic see-through tubes with screw tops, for storing various herbs and spices. Or it might also be used to display a selection of pretty flower stems.
A sheet of herb and spice labels are included with the rack, to be fixed to the tubes as required.
The red wooden crate has been painted, crackled, patched and distressed, using different creams and whites, to purposefully be made to look aged and very well used.
Then an attractive red and cream image from a paper napkin of a coffee pot, plate, storage jar, bowl of flowers on a shelf, with the narrative ‘Cuisine’ (kitchen), has been used to decorate the front and back of the crate.
Overall, the herb rack measures 21cms wide x 17.5 height.
The crate itself measures 21cms wide x 4cms depth and 9.5cms height.
