I always like to have a candle with a seasonal theme on my living room mantelpiece or hearth and/or on my Winter/Christmas dining table.
I love vintage Christmas images and this one was unusual and caught my eye; I thought it would make a lovely Winter candle decoration.

Full description
This large unscented white candle is decorated with a charming napkin image of a vintage skating scene, with children skating on the frozen pond, which has been ‘wrapped around’ the candle.
The image has an overall blue colour, which perhaps helps to emphasise the chill of the skating activity, as does the choice of white candle.
Additionally, the napkin decoupage gives the image a depth and a lovely, textured feel to the touch.
I have packaged the candle and added a raffia tie so that it might be given as a gift.
The candle is 180mm x 100mm (7” tall x 4”) and has a burn time of up to 130 hours.
This candle can make a most attractive decoration in its own right and, because the image goes around the candle so that there is something to see from every angle, it would be lovely as a Winter or Christmas table centrepiece.
Or to be an unusual and attractive addition to a Winter or Christmas mantel or hearth, where you can move the candle around to get a slightly different image every day.
As the image has been fixed with a liquid wax glue it can be lit BUT please do follow all normal candle safety rules when doing so, including placing the candle on a fireproof dish/holder, out of the reach of children or anything flammable, and never leaving a candle unattended.
