I just love all things Alice In Wonderland, particularly the illustrations from the original books, and they always make me smile.
I have decorated various boxes with different images of Alice and her adventures and decided to make some candles to match.

This small, unscented cream candle (please note that it IS cream but some of my photos seem to show it as white, apologies) is decorated with a monochrome image of Alice In Wonderland’s White Rabbit Herald at the Court of Hearts.
On the reverse of the candle is the White Rabbit’s earlier exclamation of, “Oh, my ears and whiskers”, made as he hurried down the rabbit hole passage.
The black and white image reflects the original Tenniel drawings, whilst the napkin decoupage gives a textured feel to the touch.
I have packaged the candle and added a black ribbon tie to complement the monochrome of the image, and so that it might be given as a gift. (It could be ideal for someone who loves Alice).
The candle is 100mm x 78mm (4” tall x 3”) and has a burn time of up to 40 hours.
This candle can make an attractive decoration in its own right, but as the image has been fixed with a liquid wax glue it can be lit.
BUT please do follow all normal candle safety rules when doing so, including placing the candle on a fireproof dish/holder, out of the reach of children or anything flammable, and never leaving a candle unattended.
