I spend time walking the local beaches and picking up bits of sea glass and ceramic, with the ceramics the design remaining on it usually inspires the piece.

Full description
This pendant has a piece of beach ceramic at it's centre, a fragment that has been in the sea for some time, the pattern that remains appears to be small abstract daisies on a blurred background. It has a mount made by needle weaving beads in several rows around it onto a piece of firm interfacing.Short strands of beads with little daisy designs on the ends extend from the top right and bottom left of the pendant. There are 6 loops of beads at the top to create a hanging support for 4 strands of organdie ribbon in shades of blue. The fastener for this pendant is a hand made T bar and loop, created by winding silver wire around itself and then fusing it and hammering it flat. The ribbons are approximately 50cm long and the pendant measures 4.5 by 5cm including the daisy strands. The pendant is finished with a leather back.
