Full description
This vibrant little dish was made by applying coloured glass powders to clear glass. The powders are applied wet so that the colours blend into each other at the edges. Once fused in the kiln, the powders achieve a glossy finish. The colours chosen are reminiscent of a poppy, with a black, slightly textured centre, and red petals, fading through two shades of orange at the edges. The dish measures 13cm across and is just under 4cm high. Ideal for trinkets or just as a display piece.
