Full description
This tissue pouch cover, has been entirely hand-stitched and lavishly embroidered with a cottage garden design, producing a very pretty item to give as a gift or carry in your handbag .
Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of 'eco' felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. Simple embroidery stitches in cotton threads, crewel, tapestry and knitting wools, have been used to create foliage and the pretty flowers.
The case is lined in a printed cotton fabric and the back panle is a blue and white, canvas type, fabric. The case is seemed with blanket stitch in blue crochet cotton, for durability. The case closes with a crocheted loop - using the same blue cotton thread, over a blue button.
