Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

This hand knit lace shawl came into being when I won the lottery - yes, really! I had a small win on a lucky dip card and decided to splurge on some of this wonderful golden coloured yarn, which is a blend of alpaca, silk and cashmere fibres - it looks amazing and feels even better...

Full description
The wrap is knitted in a chevron lace pattern (by Woolenberry - check out my ravelry project page if you're a fellow knitter looking for the pattern), which took many hours of devoted work that I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm only parting with the piece because I can't wear this colour myself, albeit that I constantly find myself drawn to yarns in this colour, as soon as Autumn rolls around!
You could certainly wear this wrap as a wrap come shawl, but easily as a generous scarf too - I've given you lots of ideas about how it would look in a variety of arrangements in the photographs. Excluding the pointed edges, the wrap is 73" / 186cm long and 11.5" / 29cm wide.
Please note that International shipping is for the tracked & signed service and if the actual cost is lower than charged, I will refund the difference to you.
