Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).

In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.

Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

This little coin purse is the perfect size to pop into your pocket with a little cash, a key and maybe a lip balm, when you want to travel light. It's also a great way to wrap up a money gift for a birthday or holiday gift, or to give as a bridesmaid gift.

Liberty's inspiration for this print: "Heavily influenced by the recognisable Arts & Crafts mirrored repeat, and inspired by the Florilegium Society which records flowers from a specific place, this design depicts detailed watercolour paintings of British wildflowers. From honeysuckle to forget-me nots, the flowers in this design sit amongst trailing ferns and leaves. This print is part of the Floral Library narrative of the AW24 collection, which studies the subject through the Botanist’s eye, cataloguing and exploring an assortment of species as well as a being a celebration of key florals throughout Liberty’s history."

Full description

A compact and pretty frame purse made with Liberty of London tana lawn with room for cash and a card or two.

The outer fabric is interlined to add strength and structure (see 'Inspiration' for details of the print). I've also added a soft fleece interfacing to the outer purse fabric to give a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand and cotton interfacing to the gold cotton lining.

The engraved metal frame of the purse is a bronze colour and I've hand stitched it into place using a toning perle cotton in a toning shade.

The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the top of the frame and 10cm (4 inches) across at the bottom where I've boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the bottom of the purse of 3.5cm (1.5 inches). It stands a little over 9cm (3.5 inches) tall, which is just right to carry a credit card or two, if you wish to.
