Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Full description
I've hand knit The Hug in Rowan's Kidsilk Haze Trio, which comprises three strands of Rowan's ever popular Kidsilk Haze spun together to make a beautiful soft and lightweight yarn. Trio offers all the softness of Kidsilk Haze in a heavier yet lightweight yarn with an amazingly soft handle and pretty mohair halo.
The colour of this piece is 'Blackthorn', which is a mix of grey, black and pale cream - very versatile. You can see the flat shape of the little cape in the last picture of the set above (the pink one). I've created shaping around the shoulders so that it sits happily over your arms but still gives you room to move them. The form that the cape if modelled on here has a 38 inch (96.5cm bust) - to give you some idea of fit.
Measurements:
Depth from neck to bottom edge measured through the centre is 17 inches or 43cm
Circumference around the neck is 21 inches 54cm
Circumference around the bottom hem is 46 inches 116cm
