Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Full description
This lovely soft and warm cowl is hand knit with Malabrigo's Worsted Merino - a kettle dyed 100% merino wool in a beautiful warm shade called 'Golden Ochre'.
The knit stitch pattern I've used is a very simple cable stitch that creates an effect that is anything but simple! There are 3 panels of crossed stitches that look like feathers running around the cowl that are flat on the front but, on the back, the feather panels create raised channels making this a thick and very warm cowl to wear (you can see the effect in the last photograph).
The cowl is 62 inches long (158cm) and 8.5 inches wide (21.5cm).
