Full description

This geometric necklace is sure to catch the eye with it's angular triangular shape juxtaposing with the rippling bands of colour in the boatite. The colour palette of the boatite features deep emerald green, turquoise and chartreuse green on a back ground of white, greys and black. The boatite is suspended in the middle of a doubled sterling silver chain and has an extender chain for adjustability. The boatite is approx 1 3/4 inches by 3/4 inch (42mm by 18mm), the total length (excluding the extender) is almost 18 inches but it sits like a slightly shorter necklace due to the rigid part. The extender is a further 2 inches. Comes gift boxed.

Boatite is the name given to cured layers boat paint, this formed by accident during the painting of boats, in this particular case Hydrostream speedboats in the 1970s. This would make a great gift for someone who loves messing about on boats.
