A decorative wooden box that can be used for some of the larger items of Jewellery, such as bracelets, broaches - perhaps even a tiara. But this box was designed to go a bit further of the scope of functionality. If you like this box could make for a very good Memories or keepsake box. It could be big enough to hold a life time of memories, from the day of birth to christening, right up till it can be passed on to another generation. Because keepsake doesn't have to mean for one person to keep it, but instead "keep it in the family" keepsake. The decorative wooden box has been handmade from start to finish and is a one off piece. Using some exotic wood species, some fine veneers and an interesting and effective display of decorative joints. The box stand at 17cm high, 23 1/2 x 28 cm measuring at the base of the box. Brass quadrant hinges are used for the lid. Inside the lid and at the bottom of the box, are lined with a metallic look crushed velvet material that shimmers when you look at it in different angles. The fitted half tray inside measures 20 x 12 x 5 1/2 cm high.
