I commissioned a friend to make me some hand printed fabric for purse making and this is what she made. I love the fact she recycles packaging to use as stamps. can you spot the bubble wrap pattern? and that the whole project was created in my beloved Cornwall.

Full description
Created on a piece of white cotton this pattern in acrylic paints in shades of green, yellow, red and blue, has been achieved with a selection of stamps and packaging. Because the fabric is a one off there is a different pattern on either side of the purse.
The antique bronze coloured metal purse frame has an embossed pattern and the two clasps have a diamond type stone set within them. Attached to the purse with a yellow embroidery thread and lined with a cotton batik in shades of orange, green, yellow and mustard. Fleece interfacing gives softness and structure to the purse.
A perfect little gift for yourself or a loved one.
