I was approached by Mel at Crochet-UK.co.uk to provide a project bag just the right size for their yarn cakes and the result was a smaller version of this bag! However, for some projects you need a bigger space to store the yarn and the work in progress and so I created this version for those nice cosy winter jumpers you know want to make!

Full description
This drawstring bag, just the right size for a large yarn cake or ball of wool, is perfect for keeping your yarn and tools all within easy reach. It has a handy drawstring closure, which doubles up as handles to take you project with you anywhere!
The bag is approximately 27cm (10.5 inches) tall and the diameter of the base is 18cm (7.25 inches).
There are two pocket sections (one on each side). One pocket section is divided into 3 pockets each approximately 8cm (3 inches) wide to hold all your essential items. The other section has ten pockets varying between approximately 2 cm and 3cm (3/4 inch to 1 inch) wide, perfectly sized for holding a number of hooks or needles of varying sizes.
A small piece of rope elastic attached between the two pockets is perfect for keeping those stitch markers safe!
The bag is made using light blue spray time fabric and 'happy camper' patterned fabric with butting and the mottos 'Life is an Adventure', 'Relax enjoy the Ride' and 'Delight in the Journey'. The pockets and upper drawstring sections of the bag have been interfaced to strengthen the fabric. The main body of the bag is padded using fusible fleece.
The bag is reversible so you can chose whether you want the pockets on the inside or the outside.
The bag can be washed on a 30 or 40 degree wash. Do not tumble dry.
