I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions.

Full description
This chartreuse green pendant features a shimmery free form cabochon of bowlerite bezel set in sterling silver. The fresh green colour (it reminds me of granny smith apples, its that sort of shade of green) lends itself to the leaf like sinuous free form shape, the smooth curves make it a very tactile piece and the bowlerite is warm to the touch whilst the sparkles catch the light as it moves. Bowlerite is the name given to the hard plastic from the outsides of old 10 pin bowling balls so this is not only a nod to one of 2020's on trend colours but a great bit of eco friendly recycling as well. This bowling ball had a hard life, the back of the piece has a bruise from where it hit something very hard, this is smooth to the touch and has been stabilised to ensure that it won't crack or flake in the future. You can see some of the other pieces of rough bowling ball in the photos (not included in the sale) so if you love the idea of bowlerite as a gift for a bowling fan but would like a different colour or earrings or cufflinks then drop me a message and I'll have a look to see if I have a suitable piece of rough.
Approx 40mm drop by 23mm (excluding the generous bail) comes complete with a sterling silver snake chain in a sleek black box. The bail could easily take a leather thong, drop me a message if you would prefer this option and we can discuss lengths.
