Full description

This pendant features a bezel set cabochon of unusual K2 jasper, K2 jasper gets its name from the location it is found in - the foothills of Mount K2 - and has a unique colour palette of blue spots on a pale grey background. This particular piece is leaf shaped and bezel set in an open backed sterling silver setting, comes complete with an 18 inch sterling silver chain but the bail could fit a cotton cord if you wanted to swap it over. The blue spots are a natural formation on the grey granite back ground, when it was first discovered people thought the dots were dyed but analysis showed that it is azurite. The origins of this material would make a great gift for the adventurer in your life or someone who loves climbing.

The pendant is just over 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch (excluding the bail, 40mm by 25mm). Comes in a gift box.
