I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
This pendant features an oval piece of spectrolite which has been bezel set in sterling silver and mounted in landscape orientation rather than the standard portrait. Spectrolite is related to labradorite and displays the same flashes of colour, for this piece the colour displays better in the landscape setting rather than portrait hense my decision to orientate it that way round. The colour flash rolls over the entire surface and is golden yellow with bright blue veins against a black ground. The flash of colours against the black reminds me of the northern lights against the midnight sky. Spectrolite is only found in one part of Finland where the mining season is fairly short due to the cold weather, I bought the rough that this cabochon was cut from whilst visiting Finland and then had it custom cut back in the UK.
Measures approx 38mm (inc bail) by 35mm and comes complete with a sterling silver chain (could easily be switched to a ribbon if you wanted to). Also comes gift boxed.
