A while back, someone suggested I make wooden toys. Well I had a go and found it fun, but I am always nervous if my product can do harm to children. Things like small parts that can be broken or swallowed or that the finish I use can be toxic etc. No, sadly I became paranoid and had to put it down. However, Just to try and be clever I had a go at making the smallest wooden toy car where even the wheels would still move....and well....you can probably guess the rest.

Full description
A Wooden car keyring, or a miniature wooden toy car... these look fun! And they are. Great little eye catching and fun keyrings - and YES, the wheels do turn. Approximately 30cm wide x 50cm long x 25cm high from the table, these lovely shaped blocks of Oak have a Teak mid section and an Apple wood chassis with ebony wheels. The wheels are connected to bamboo axle shafts, which are strong enough to cope with pressure like sitting on your keys in your back pocket. I know this because it is what I always do with mine, which I have had for some years now. The wheels turn freely and the body of the car is sanded to a high standard. Maple is a very dense and hard wood and can take a beating. These are hand crafted, CNC machines do not exist in my workshop.
