Full description
This delightful and colourful bag is made from a white cotton fabric with a gold dash background and covered in rows of hexagons in bright shades of lime green, pink, red, purple and black with designs of flowers, butterflies and foliage. I have lightly quilted some of the shapes with white cotton to give texture to the piece. Wadding gives it softness and strength.
A lime green all purpose zip with a mauve ribbon pull is attached to 2 tiny hexagons cut from the fabric and sewn together. A metal sewing machine charm completes the piece.
The cotton lining has a white background and a busy pattern of flowers and leaves in shades of purple, mauve and lime green.
A perfect gift for a patchworker or quilter in your life.
