I love choosing all the components for a project and this was no exception. This purse tells a story from the bees on the outside to the pollen rich flowers within. The matching embroidery thread, the colour of the flower clasp, have all been carefully chosen, it has been a joy to create.

Full description
This delightful little purse brings back memories of summer days filled with the sound of buzzing bees and dandelion seeds on the wind. Created from a cotton fabric in shades of blue, white, brown and gold, I have captured a little different piece of the design on either side of the purse.
The antique bronze metal frame has an embossed design with flower clasps with gold centres. Attached to the purse with gold embroidery thread and lined with cotton fabric in a garden design of gold roses and green foliage, it is the perfect setting for any bee to forage in. Fleece interfacing and interfacing have been added to the fabric and lining to give strength and softness.
My initial and year of creation is embroidered within the lining so that you know you have purchased a Made in the Temple original. This would make the perfect present for a bee loving friend and can be used for so many other uses than holding small change.
