This little piece of fabric has been really troublesome. None of my purses looked right with it until I made this one, which will be a one off. I love the quirky design that gives it a bygone feel but with a modern twist.

This pretty cotton fabric has a vintage feel to it with a design of cakes and sweet treats from a bygone age. In shades of maroon, lemon, pale blue and sherbet green on a white background this little coin purse has a multitude of uses and is a one off piece.
The three and a quarter inch antique bronze coloured clasp has an embossed pattern with the closures shaped as flowers with red centres. I have used a maroon coloured embroidery thread to attach to the main purse and this echoes the colour of the lining in a material that catches the light and gives an opulent feel to this piece. Fleece interfacing gives softness and structure.
