Full description
This charming sun catcher has been made from tumbled pieces of aquamarine and white beach glass and red beads, mounted on a glass disc. The centre of the sun catcher is a shiny red glass heart. The glass disc is the bottom of a glass jar or bottle which we found on the beach and tumbled it until it was smooth. It is gently curved which gives the sun catcher a three dimensional effect as can be seen in picture 2.
The sun catcher is 5.2 cm in diameter and 1.2 cm deep. It comes with a piece of transparent cord.
Our sun catchers are made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each sun catcher is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of the charm of beach glass gifts. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The sun catcher will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
