I think it is super to have something different and that that no-one else is wearing. Individually decorating these shoes means that you can have a pair of shoes unique to you.
Although it is very time-consuming and painstaking, I really do enjoy making these mini works of art which I feel are unusual and rather special and will be unique to the person wearing them.
I have sold shoes to people in the USA, Germany, Italy and New Zealand and love to see my shoes 'in action' so welcome pictures on my Facebook page (Your Lovely Home (Stephanie Sinclair)). Do feel free to post any fun photos of your pair of decorated shoes on there.
I love decorating these shoes and am always so pleased with the individual results; every pair is truly different! I hope you love them, too.

Full description
These canvas shoes have been individually decorated with napkin decoupage, carefully layering a collage of images from complementary paper napkins. I have purposefully decorated the two shoes differently for more impact but made them so that they match or reflect each other when seen and worn together.
Different Old Japan (Edo) figures are on each shoe, together with butterflies and patterns, including a fan shape on the left shoe.
The shoes are unusual and unique and, whilst I follow the design/pattern as shown on the pair in this photograph, no two pairs will be the exactly the same.
The medium and varnish used give the shoes an almost plastic-feel finish (which softens nicely with wear) and which make the shoes relatively shower proof. However, I would suggest that my shoes are treated like fashion shoes and not trainers/heavy duty plimsolls (especially avoiding deep puddles and immersing in water – and playing ball games!) and are cleaned gently with only a damp cloth.
The shoes are made to order and take up to four weeks to complete. When ordering, please contact me direct to confirm the design (I have a number of designs; please do see my other listings) and the size (Adult Size 3 to 9) you require. I normally use Slazenger plimsolls, in case you might wish to try on a pair in a Sports Shop to check how the sizing comes up.
