I am a child growing up in the seventies....we had brown back competitions, played endlessly outside in immensely long summer holidays, making hedgehog hospitals with Lewis Richardson in the hedge and climbing the poplar trees.....Weeks were punctuated by fetes and steam rallies. Dad would judge stationary engines and we would have a cream tea as a treat...perhaps just s scone...
It is all 'fade coloured ', crackle edged and on a flickering cine film replay in my head....
Such lovely times, endless summer days.........

Big, bold and beautiful!
This is a big jug, ideal for water on the table, lemonade outside at functions and filled with flowers when the fancy takes you.
It holds 2 litres, yet is surprisingly OK to lift...
Measuring 6" high and 7.75 Diameter.
I hand paint each one of my endless summer peices individually so they are all utterly unique, though they do match in with other items. The wind blows the bunting over the top of the jug lip and a section of it is on the inside. It is fastened to the jug handle with white string - you can clearly feel the thickness under the glaze. I do so like texture...
I paint using foodsafe underglaze colours and fire to earthenware temperatures with lead free glaze.
This jug has an artist info and care leaflet attached with jute to the handle. I wrap in tissue before packaging using recycled materials wherever possible and send out using First Class recorded delivery.
