Frank and Ernest live in Wells Next the Sea, they own a beach hut and can happily spend hours watching the sun set over the rippling tide. This time however they've popped to the local, Frank's finished his glass... "fancy a top up" he says cheerfully. Ernest is debating wether to spend the weekend at the hut by himself with some gin.

Full description
This mug is slip cast in my home studio in South Norfolk. I have hand painted it with 'Frank and Ernest' lobsters enjoying a tipple in their local pub, well Frank is enjoying his, Ernest can't grip his glass...
This mug is our favourite shape at home, it stands 10 cm high and can hold 3/4 pint of your favourite brew. I back stamp and sign each of my pieces and attach a makers card to the handle with jute string. This is a high fired earthenware piece and whilst it is fine for the dishwasher I don't recommend oven use or microwave as the handle could get hot.
I wrap each item in tissue before using recycled materials to post out
