I paint a lot of hares and use these type of bowls all the time at home. This size is perfect for salads, pastors and fruit bowls. The design is quite delicate using underglaze pencils for detail and outlines.

Full description
This is a hand-painted earthenware fruit bowl, depicting two running hares with light tufts of grass. The bowl measures 13” across and stands 3” high.
I use food safe underglaze colour and leadfree glaze, firing to higher than where this piece is dishwasher proof but not suitable for avenues. The piece is back stamped and signed and entitled running hares. I attach an artist information tag with jute string. .
All of my work is individual this piece is a unique one off. I wrap each piece in tissue before using recycled materials to send out first class signed for service by Royal mail.
