The super, brightly coloured design on this napkin made me think of homely country kitchens and also my own annual preserve-making marathon!
I wanted to use the design to make some pretty items for the kitchen, including this storage tin.

Full description
This is a plain silver coloured tin with a decorated lid. The lid was painted in white with a soft crackle finish to give it a country and aged/shabby chic look and then decorated with a bright napkin decoupage design of fruit, jam and preserves. I then varnished the lid twice for protection.
The tin measures 9.25” wide x 7.25” x 3.5” height (23 x 18.5 x 9 cms).
I use my personal tin like this for storing recipes but it could be used for anything you wish (although I would not recommend it for food items).
