Traditionally handmade vegan-friendly cold process soaps and bathroom treats

I'm Jackie and I have been creating handmade soaps using the traditional cold-process method since 2024.

As a long-term vegan myself, all of my products are 100% vegan friendly, made with natural products and are 100% palm free.

Following a 26 year career in sustainable energy, I took a break from a job that had evolved into something that didn't involve much sustainability, and discovered the joy of creating gorgeous soaps out of seemingly not very cleansing ingredients.

As someone who has been trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle for many years, creating handmade solid soaps for other people seemed like a great way to encourage more people to reduce their plastic use - and my friends and family haven't disappointed, with several badgering me to get selling as quickly as possible!

As a breast cancer survivor, I also appreciate the need for something gentle and non-drying on the skin: chemotherapy can play havoc with skin and the harsh chemicals found in many commercially produced soaps, along with the lack of glycerin, can make them very drying.

I currently work at home, with my kitchen doubling up as my soap-making workshop. Based in Witney, near the historic ancient Wychwood Forest and the Cotswolds, I am surrounded by beautiful countryside and enjoy walking and running in the area, especially when my dog Tinker wants to get out.

All of my products have an appropriate Cosmetic Product Safety Report (commonly referred to as a 'Safety Assessment' or just an 'Assessment') and are listed on the UK government's portal, where all cosmetic products for sale in the UK must be listed.
