Hi,
I’m Leena and currently I live in rural Suffolk, just few miles inland from the North Sea coast. I’m a lifelong knitter, and my skills developed within the rich tradition of colourwork knitting of the Northern Europe. Though creating Fair Isle sweaters is my true love and passion (incidentally, I do take commissions!), this shop features mostly socks and toys - small form craft has its own gratification and makes perfect gifts for almost any occasion. In my smaller works, I pay the same meticulous attention to every stitch as I do for larger garments. And socks are so practical, everyone needs a good pair of lovely woolly socks, or am I wrong? As to the teddy bears… it’s good to have at least one around the house.
When I’m not knitting, you can probably find me backpacking along one of the long distance trails (Land’s End to John o’Groats was the latest one)… though I still knit actually under the canvas of my tent in the evenings, oops.

Beautiful soft socks. Should be excellent in my wellingtons this winter. I couldn’t resist the lovely colour combination . A present to myself. Delivered in good time. Very happy.

A great pair of yellow wool flecked socks. A heel reinforcement, so they’ll be good for walking. They’ve been hand washed once and very small amount of shrinkage, exactly what I would expect. I ordered another pair as soon as they appeared on the site!
