I like this painting very much and I particularly enjoy buying sea pictures for my home when I can afford them! So this was a pleasure for me in the time of lockdown which in its own way has been a journey. I find this picture a powerful evocation of a journey by boat and of the sea carrying us far beyond what we know into the unknown and therefore of the trust and courage that are needed to go forward on the adventure of life. I enjoy the sombre sea and sky colours flecked with light and look forward to framing this picture and placng it in my house. Thank you!Good luck with your art!

I bought my sister a pair of silver ammonite earrings from a local jeweller in Lyme Regis for her birthday as she lives in Scotland but our parents used to live in Lyme Regis and this was a memento of happy holidays there.
