Hello,
I’m Amandine, a passionate maker.
I began my journey in jewellery-making in 2016, initially crafting colourful and often asymmetric statement pieces from polymer clay (Fimo) under the name the Lopsided Studio. One year into the pandemic, I decided to take a leap and enrol in an intensive silversmithing course making a long-held dream come true. Since then, I have attended various classes and dedicated workshops to hone my skills further, and I regularly rent a bench at the jewellery school where I take advantage of their fantastic tools and machinery which support me in my projects. In early 2024, I decided to reopen an online shop to bring my ideas to life and share them with fellow jewellery enthusiasts.
I am also lucky to have my own little studio right in my garden. Two years ago, my husband and I poured lots of love into transforming a grey old summer house into a bright, cozy workspace now featuring wood accents and even underfloor heating—what a luxury!
I am naturally enthusiastic and I put my heart into everything I do. When I am not in the studio, I study art history - another aspiration that became a reality as a result of Covid, excited to graduate in 2025 - or I tend to my children, houseplants and garden. All those various interests now enrich one another, weaving a unique identity into my work and giving it meaning.
