Hi I'm Layla, designer/maker of hand-painted jewellery.
I live and work in the lovely town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast, where the wildlife and seasonal changes of the surrounding countryside are an endless source of inspiration for my work.
All of my jewellery designs are created by laser etching my illustrations into FSC certified birch plywood which I then delicately hand paint, all from my home studio with my little dog Ted for company.
My jewellery has been described as 'wearable pieces of art', which is a wonderful compliment. Ultimately, my aim is to create stand-out designs that make people smile.
