Whimsical nature inspired illustrations and lino prints. High quality, vibrant and colourful artworks which, I hope, will make you smile and day dream :)

Hey folks! My name is Kasia Kozakiewicz - Woodward ( I know, it's a mouthful!) and I'm a self taught illustrator from Poland who found her place in beautiful Scotland where my heart just beats faster.

As a child, drawing was my favorite pastime, but as a teenager, I lost interest in it. It wasn't until my early thirties that I rediscovered my passion for drawing.

After studying architecture and spending several years working in the field, I realised it lacked the excitement I was seeking, so I made the decision to change direction because the job just made me miserable.

Following some time spent traveling, I took up a job at a cafe until the pandemic shifted everything. With abundant free time, my partner encouraged me to give digital drawing a try. Although I was initially reluctant (since I once viewed digital art as "cheating" :D), I bought the most affordable tablet I could find, and it turned out to be one of the best choices I ever made.

Since then, I’ve dived into the world of illustration and discovered a renewed sense of purpose and happiness in creating art. It’s been a fulfilling journey of rediscovery and personal expression that has reignited my creative spark.

When I’m not drawing, I spend my time walking, running, and exploring. I enjoy taking in the small moments and immersing myself in the world of plants and wildlife, which often serve as the source of my ideas and inspiration.

I savor a good cup of coffee and a captivating book in the morning, with my cat Zuza curled up on my lap. I enjoy morning runs and walks, soaking in the first rays of sunlight and keeping an eye out for deer. The melodies of birdsong from the treetops bring me peace. Hiking, whether along mountain ridges or listening to the sound of the waves, is another passion of mine. I also cherish time spent disconnecting from screens and experimenting with linocut which became my beloved passion ever since I joined the beginner's workshops.
